Bleed radiator valves before winter

You can get your winter off to a good start by bleeding the valves on your hot water radiators before you turn on the heating system.

This is an important preventive step to increase efficiency and avoid rust, which is a curse for metal radiators.

Bleeding the valves will release air that has accumulated in the system, thus lessening the chance of rust. Rust is created by a combination of air and water.
