Winter and water heater woes
You can turn the heater thermostat up – but only to 125 degrees – and see if the water gets warmer.
If not, see if the pressure relief valve is working and inspect the gas supply or electrical power, depending on whether you have a gas or electric water heater. Does the thermostat’s limit switch need to be reset?
These are the “easy fixes.” If none work for you, call a professional experienced in working with water heaters.
Elite HVAC techs solve problems with water heaters as well as issues with heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
